Empower Simcoe’s Summer Adventures is a youth summer camp like no other—fun-filled, inclusive, and full of discovery. Specifically designed for high school-aged youth, this dynamic program brings together recreation, learning, and creativity across 8 exciting weeks of themed summer camps. From outdoor adventures to creative expression and hands-on learning, every week features a unique theme packed with exciting trips, activities, and team-based challenges.
Participants will travel across Simcoe County and beyond—from Orillia to Toronto—immersing themselves in nature, sports, science, the arts, and more. Whether we’re exploring scenic caves, tackling cooking battles, visiting Canada’s Wonderland, or creating masterpieces during Art Week, each day is crafted to spark curiosity, build confidence, and create unforgettable memories.

Transportation Add-On – Innisfil Week (July 27–30)
We’re now offering a limited transportation option for our Endurance Mode (Sports Week) in Innisfil to make getting to camp easier for families.
This optional add-on provides round-trip transportation each day between Barrie and the Innisfil camp location:
Pickup Location: Empower Simcoe – 40 Fraser Ct, Barrie
Drop-Off Location: Morgan Russell Memorial Arena, Lefroy
Morning Departure: 9:00 AM
Afternoon Return: 4:30 PM
Cost: $140 for the full 4-day week
Spots Available: Limited to 5 participants
This service is ideal for families who prefer a consistent, supervised travel option while ensuring campers arrive together, ready for a full day of activities.
Please note: This add-on must be purchased separately and is only available for Week 4 (July 27–30).

Please Note:
We encourage you to join our Youth Link program, which runs every week (updated in monthly increments). This program offers a valuable opportunity for your child to meet other youth participating in the summer program, as well as to connect with the Empower Simcoe staff that’s working in the summer.
Refund Policy:
Cancellation more than two weeks prior to the start of the program will result in a full refund, minus a 15% administration fee (up to a maximum of $50). If you need to withdraw from the course due to a physician’s order, you will receive a refund for half of the remaining term. No refunds will be given for dismissals due to disciplinary action, late arrivals, or early departures.
How do I know if the youth require 1:1 supports to attend Empower Simcoe’s Youth Programs?
(If the answer is yes to any of the following, they need 1:1)
- Does the youth need assistance in the washroom?
- Does the youth struggle to transition to new activities or stay with a group?
- Is the youth a flight risk?
- Is the youth at risk of self-harm or harming others?
In order for a family-employed Support Worker to accompany the youth to the program, that Support Worker must either:
- Submit a Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening that has been completed within the last 90 days from the time of submission, or
- Must have completed the CHAP (Community Helper for Active Participation) registration process through supportyourway.ca/respiteservices.com.
