Summer Adventure Program – July & August Options!
Join Empower Simcoe and some peers this summer for fun activities! This community-based program offers exciting outings, new experiences, and the chance to make great memories with others.
July Program
Activities include:
-Bowling
-Beach Picnic
-GO Train to Ripley’s Aquarium
-Mini Putt
-The Rec Room
Dates: July 7 – July 11
Times: Monday to Friday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (except Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 3:35 PM)
Spots Available: 6
Cost: $450
Admission costs included for bowling, Ripley’s, GO Train, mini putt, and the Rec Room.
August Program
Activities include:
-Bowling
-Beach Picnic
–Royal Ontario Museum (ROM)
-Mini Putt
-The Rec Room
Dates: August 25 – August 29
Times: Monday to Friday: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (except Wednesday: 8:45 AM – 3:35 PM)
Spots Available: 5
Cost: $450
Admission costs included for bowling, ROM, mini putt, and the Rec Room.
Location: Activities take place at various community locations. Staff will contact participants one week prior with full details.
Eligibility: Adults 18+ with an intellectual disability.
Registration Deadline: One week before program start.
