Why this matters

The Empower Simcoe Foundation is raising funds for the Hooray for Outdoor Play capital campaign to build a new, fully accessible playground at the EarlyON Child & Family Centre (129 Ferris Lane, Barrie). Beyond recreation, this space will serve as an outdoor learning hub for EarlyON programming and the Ontario Autism Program: Entry to School, supporting young children and their families.

How your ticket helps

Outdoor play is vital to children’s social, emotional, and physical development. EarlyON centres support families and caregivers of children 0–6 with free, welcoming programs that build confidence and community. The Entry to School program also supports children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, offering safe, engaging environments to learn and grow.

Prizes

Your ticket gives you a chance to win one of three themed baskets (each valued at $200+) designed to encourage social–emotional wellness and parent–child engagement.

Each Basket valued at over $200 Includes:
  • Visual Timer
  • Gift certificate for a visit to our children’s Snoezelen rooms
  • Books with props, toys, and hands-on activities
Visit any of our three sites to see the basket:

Tickets
  • $5 each, 3 for $10, or 10 for $35
  • Available online (secure checkout)
  • Winners will be notified directly and invited to pick up prizes in person
  • With consent, first name and photo of winners will be shared on social media after Thanksgiving 2025

When will winners be drawn?

Winners will be drawn on Sunday October 17th and contacted within 2 business days.

How will I receive my prize?

Prizes are pick-up only. Please bring a piece of ID.

Is my purchase tax-receiptable?

Raffle ticket purchases are not eligible for charitable tax receipts under CRA guidelines.

  • Open to Ontario residents 18+.

  • Tickets are available to purchase until Thursday, October 16th at 11:59pm.

  • Odds of winning depend on total number of tickets sold.

  • No cash value; prizes must be accepted as awarded.
